I have been taking photographs for many years, mainly as an enthusiast but occasionally selling my work through my printing business, where, in addition to normal commercial work, we offered a Fine Art Printing Service. Now I have retired from this line of work, I want to concentrate on broadening my horizons producing images taken around the UK. I started out with landscape images, and I still love a great landscape taken when the conditions are idea. However over the last couple of years, in particular in the pursuit of obtaining my ARPS, I have become a bit more experimental and possibly more eclectic in my style. I suppose it is the unusual that catches my eye and it is that that I strive to develop into some thing that will reflect me. I have moved from the Peak District where I lived for 30 years back to Scotland - albeit a bit further north than where I grew up. Will this open up new horizons? I hope so!
